Fiction Writing Services That Help You Finish Your Novel

Our fiction writing services help you turn a story idea into a finished novel. Work one to one with a writing coach who keeps you on track, or hire a ghostwriter to write it with you. Either way, the book stays true to your vision, from the first chapter to the last line.

Fiction Writing Services in Every Genre

Every genre has its own rules and its own readers. So we match you with a coach or writer who knows yours well.

  1. 01

    Romance

From slow-burn love stories to steamy romantic comedy, we help you build chemistry, tension and an ending readers cheer for.

  2. 02

    Fantasy and Science Fiction

We help you build worlds that feel real, with clear rules, rich history and characters readers want to follow across a series.

  3. 03

    Thriller, Mystery and Crime

Next, we plan twists, clues and pacing, so your plot keeps readers guessing until the final page.

  4. 04

    Literary and Historical Fiction

Finally, we help you balance deep character work with research, so your story feels both moving and true to its time.

Two Ways to Write Your Novel

Some authors want to write every word themselves. Others want an expert to write for them. We offer both, and you can switch at any time.

  • Writing Coaching

Your coach helps you plan your plot, build your characters and set a writing schedule. Then they read each chapter and give honest, practical feedback.

  • Fiction Ghostwriting

Your ghostwriter interviews you about your story, writes the draft in your voice and revises it with you. However, your name goes on the cover.

  • Outlining and Story Planning

Not ready to write yet? First, we help you shape your idea into a clear outline, with a chapter-by-chapter plan you can follow.

  • Book Doctoring

Stuck halfway or unhappy with a draft? In that case, we help you diagnose the problem and rebuild the parts that are not working.

Your Story Deserves to Be Finished

Most unfinished novels stall in the middle. A coach or ghostwriter gets you to the end.

How Our Novel Writing Process Works

You always know which stage your book is at and who is working on it.

  1. 01

    Free Consultation

First, we talk about your idea, your genre and how much help you want.

  2. 02

    Outline and Sample

Next, we build an outline together and write or review a sample chapter, so you can see the fit.

  3. 03

    Writing the Draft

Then we write or coach chapter by chapter, with regular calls and clear deadlines.

  4. 04

    Revision

After that, we revise the full draft until the story feels right to you.

  5. 05

    Edit and Publish

Finally, your manuscript moves on to editing, design and publishing, all with the same team.

From First Idea to Finished Manuscript

Writing a novel is a long road, and it is easy to lose your way. That is why our fiction writing services focus on momentum. Regular sessions, clear goals and honest feedback help you keep moving, even when life gets busy.

Your coach or ghostwriter also brings craft knowledge. For example, they know how to open a book with a strong hook, how to keep a middle from sagging and how to land an ending readers remember.

Once your draft is done, it can move straight on to developmental editing and then book cover design. When you are ready to publish, our self-publishing services take care of the rest. Writing a true story instead? See our memoir writing services.

What our authors say

  • I had an idea stuck in my head for three years, but no time to write it. I sent Ordwick a couple of voice notes and a rough chapter-by-chapter concept. They built a plot outline, delivered a sample chapter that captured my voice immediately, and kept me in the loop at every single stage.

    David K.

    Self-Published Sci-Fi Author

  • As a first-time author, I was worried about losing control of my story. But having scheduled check-ins after every few chapters meant I could request tweaks in real time. It feels 100% like my book, just written with expert help.

    Sarah M.

    Contemporary Fiction Author

  • My thriller draft was a mess of loose threads and structural dead ends. Because the developmental editor was in the same room as the outline team, they caught pacing issues before chapter one was even finished. The end product earned every single twist.

    Marcus Thorne

    Bestselling Thriller Author

  • Ordwick didn't just publish my book; they treated it like a piece of architecture. Every font choice, every margin, every marketing move was intentional and precise.

    Marisol Reyes

Author Of 'the Architecture Of Silence

Fiction Writing FAQs

Still have a question? Book a free call

What is the difference between a writing coach and a ghostwriter?

A writing coach helps you write the book yourself, with planning, feedback and accountability. A ghostwriter writes the book for you, based on your ideas, in your voice.

Will my name be on the book?

Yes. With both coaching and ghostwriting, you are the author. Our ghostwriters work confidentially and do not take credit.

Do I own the rights to my novel?

Yes. Once your project is paid, the rights to the finished manuscript are yours, as set out in your agreement.

How long does it take to write a novel?

With a ghostwriter, most novels take four to nine months. With coaching, it depends on how often you write, but many authors finish in six to twelve months.

How much do your fiction writing services cost?

We quote each project on its own. The price depends on length, genre and whether you choose coaching or ghostwriting. Ask for a free quote.

Can you help with a series?

Yes. We can plan a whole series, with story arcs that carry across books, and help you write each one in turn.
