These terms and conditions apply when you use our website or buy services from Ordwick. Please read them carefully. By placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Ordwick Media & Publications Limited runs Ordwick. It is a company in England and Wales, number 16000733. We also work with Media Spines LLC in the United States. Our Services

We offer book writing support, editing, proofreading, design, formatting, publishing, printing, translation and marketing services. Each project has its own quote or agreement. It sets out what we will deliver, the price and the timeline. If it differs from these terms, the project agreement wins.

Your Work and Intellectual Property

Your manuscript remains your intellectual property. Once you pay in full, we give you all rights in the final work we create for you. That includes edited text, cover designs and layouts. After that, you may use, publish and sell it as you wish. However, we license some items, such as stock images and fonts, rather than own them. So we will tell you about any license terms.

You confirm that you have the right to use the material you send us. It must not break anyone else's rights.

Prices, Payment and Taxes

Every quote is tailored to your project. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we ask for full payment before work begins. Prices do not include local taxes, such as VAT or sales tax, unless we say so. You pay any taxes that apply.

Revisions

We want you to be happy with your work. So you may ask for revisions within seven days of each delivery. On request, we may extend this to 14 days. We complete revisions within 24 to 72 hours, depending on how urgent your project is. The number of revision rounds included is set out in your quote.

Refunds

Because our services are custom and start soon after you order, refunds work as follows:

• You can ask for a refund before we start work or send a first draft. In that case, we keep a 10% admin fee.
• Once work starts, we do not refund a change of mind.
• Once you sign off on the final work, the service is complete. So no refund applies.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your rights under the consumer laws of your country.

Cancellations and Payment Disputes

You may cancel services that we have not yet started. However, we count work that is done or delivered as provided, and we do not refund it. If you have a problem, please email info@ordwick.com first, so we can try to fix it. If you start a chargeback without contacting us, we may share proof of our work with your bank.

No Guarantee of Sales or Deals

We work hard to give every book its best chance. Still, we cannot promise sales, rankings, reviews, a literary agent or a publishing deal. These depend on many things outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

We provide our website as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or data. Our total liability for a project is never more than the amount you paid for it. But nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

You agree to cover our losses if you break these terms, or if your material breaks someone else's rights.

Governing Law

The laws of England and Wales govern these terms and conditions. The courts of England and Wales will deal with any disputes. However, if you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
